The Bomb Factory Moogerfooger Lowpass Filter is a software emulation of the hardware pedal version.  The software was easy to install as I didn't have any compatibility issues or other problems.  The whole process only took a few minutes as I installed it with the rest of the Moogerfooger plug-ins in this bundle.  The interface of the software isn't hard to figure out as everything is conveniently laid out.  It has parameters for drive as well as sections for envelope and filter with the envelope section having parameters for amount, mix, and a switch for smooth or fast, while the filter section has parameters for cutoff, resonance, and a switch for either a two or four pole setting.  This is easy enough to use where I don't believe that a manual is necessary.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

The performance that you can get while running the Bomb Factory Moogerfooger Lowpass Filter largely depends on what system you are running it on.  However, this won't take up much processing power and I've never had any problems running it on my system.  I am currently running the plug-in on a Mac Book Pro that has a 2.2 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 4 GB of RAM.  I run the plug-in in Pro Tools LE 7.4 that runs with a Digi 002R audio interface.  Within this configuration I've never had an issues running the Bomb Factory Moogerfooger Lowpass Filter plug-in.

OVERALL OPINION

The Bomb Factory Moogerfooger Lowpass Filter is quite a helpful plug-in that has a great sound to it.  It is easy to use and won't cost much when you buy it within a bundle like I did.  It has a lot of different possibilities in terms of tones and all are quite good sounding.  I'm a big fan of all of the Moogerfooger plug-ins in the bundle and would definitely recommend not only checking out this particular plug-in, but the entire bundle.
