Overall, I have no regrets with the Casio Tone 405 by Casio. There isn’t too much you can do with this board but one thing I know for sure its pretty cool . Its all analog so if you like those old analog sounds then it will fit your perfectly. The only question is can you still find one of these or find someone who is actually selling it?. That ...
Overall, I would purchase this over and over if I needed to. Its always good to keep a PSR keyboard on hand and the 150 was a very popular one when it first came out. It was affordable for home piano players to skip out on buying a real piano. The fact that it is really portable is a plus, you can take it with you anywhere and you don’t even nee...
Overall, a board like this would only be sought after if you are into vintage equipment. Don’t expect to get this and want to use the sounds in your music if you are playing up to date stuff. But if you are a vintage buff then you will love it just like we all did back in the 90’s. Call around and see if you can actually still get your hands on ...
The sounds are good, depending on what type of sounds you like, as I said the sounds are more pop like and could be used in some electronic type music, but I wouldn’t look at this board if you are into jazz or anything like that. Its just not for you then, but if you want nice bright sounds than this will go great with your collection. <b...
The keyboard velocity is rather difficult to master. The sounds are nice, but some of them (especially the organs) are not as good as the ones on my 20 year-old Yamaha PSR-4500. I got mine second hand for 200 euros. I think it is a good value for money. Knowing what i know now, i will make the same choice. As for the price, better ...
This keyboard has over 500 voices that can be tweaked to give a ton of tones from this thing. Some are great and some are just OK, but all could be usable for certain situations. The one I use the most is the Yamaha Portable Grand voice, which sounds very convincing as a baby grand for coming out of a cheaper electronic keyboard. There are a ...
I like the built in speakers. They sound good, and having them makes it so that I can set it up in the house between gigs, and always have a 'piano' to hop to quickly when the mood strikes. Im happy with choosing to go with this for my band, we all enjoy it and I take it home and play for the kids with it and try to teach them some stuff as well.
Everyone needs a great personal digital piano at home even if your are just learning this one will help you along the way fine. You could have some trouble finding one though unless someone on Craig list or eBay has one for sale because its an older model and no longer made by Casio. But im sure there are some online somewhere because people nev...
Overall, it doesn't come with an A/C adapter or USB cable. Instead, Yamaha offers the "survival kit". However, I think these are two basic accessories that should be included. I also think the 5w speakers need to be beefed up a little bit. They were a little quiet for some sounds, though they are intended for practice and not performance and th...
The sounds you'll hear from the Yamaha PSS-130 are very cheesy, and bordering on the not useful kind of cheesy. I can see these sounds being used in some throw back electronic music, but I wouldn't use them for the kind of music I work on. It's fun to mess around with and you can get a bunch of different sounds, but none of them are anything c...
