I'm going to say that for the price (around $70 new), this is the best acoustic guitar in the world. I'll give it a 10 based upon that statement. It holds tune solidly, looks good, plays excellently, and still hasn't developed any cracks on me after I've owned it for 9 years. This is the sleeper acoustic to beat all others.
I've been using this guitar since 1995. The sound becomes always better (warmer) with aging. The frets are still ok and the guitar needs no adjustment! The top is varnished so take care of it! I don't regret having bought it.

So Takamine has filled a very important void with the GS series. Guys like myself who own nicer guitars ...
I've owned this guitar for about 6 or 7 years now. Overall, it was worth every penny I paid for it. I bought it new for $500.00. The thing I like most about this guitar is that it's made tough. I've dropped this thing (by accident of coarse) more that a few times, wacked the back of it, knocked the head against any number of thin...
