Overall, great mixing console all I can really say is beware because after using for a while it seems to get really warm and I don’t think it has any type of built in fan at least from what I can tell so I keep a fan on it if its going to be on for a long period of time. Cant afford for anything to get fried. So you will have to make sure it doe...
Overall, I think I like the value for what you pay for these and what you get. You pay a really low price for the NS110M’s and get a really good quality. In today’s market that’s what we all want is to feel like we got a deal on a great product and you will have that satisfaction with these.
Overall, these are one of the best sets of monitors that I have used and pretty sure they are the best they I have here at home. With so many different monitors on the market you need to be experimental and find the ones that will suit you the best and give you the best mix. So for these are the best ones for me, I wouldn’t choose any other ones...
I've been using the Yamaha MSP5 studio monitors for about three years. I've used them both for tracking and listening and for mixing. They work great in all listening applications because they provide not only an accurate portrayal of the sound you are playing but because they cover the whole spectrum of frequencies. Yamaha has a reputation for ...
While I wasn’t sure what to think of the Yamaha HS80M’s at first, I’ve found that I really like the way they sound. They are a great in between studio monitor as they’ve got a professional sound but are affordable for home studio owners for sure. I still do prefer my Adam A7’s that I have at home, although those will cost you a few bucks more ...
Yamaha is known the world round for making affordable gear of all kinds, and they don't come up short at all with the MG166CX. While it's not the best as your console in your home studio, it will definitely do the job and at the very least will serve as a routing mixer. It's not expensive at all for what you're getting, so if you want a 16 cha...
I don't think you'll have too much luck finding a Yamaha EM200, as it seems like there aren't too many of these being sold, most likely because this is somewhat unnecessary in the era of digital recording. Still, it's cool for what it is and shouldn't be more than a few hundred (US) dollars if you can find one. It can do most of what a more mo...
I think you'll find the Yamaha D5000 in a number of studio racks, but probably isn't a device that sees much use. If you have one of these in your studio, give it another shot! I don't know that it's worth it to buy one if you're a home studio owner, but professionals should consider it if they're looking for a delay unit. It shouldn't cost v...
I've been using these monitors for over 10 years. I also used them as home speakers for one year. They are great as near-field speaker but the sound quality decreases when used in a living room. Now, I use them in my home studio for all my recordings and I'm very satisfied. The sound matches what I hear with a premium hi-fi system or a...
The Yamaha MT4X is an old school, four track cassette recording device. Of course recorders like this are quite outdated at this point, but there's still a little bit of worth in this and even though they aren't highly sought after, there's still a number of these floating around. I'm not sure the year on the MT4X, but a good friend of mine st...
