I have no idea what the price is for these down the new market. However in the used market. You can find them pretty cheap. They're not necessarily a cheap guitar but you can find them pretty inexpensively because of their price points. If you're looking for a fun alternative to the Fender or Gibson guitars and this is a good way to start becaus...
The Godin 5th Avenue is a killer value for money and is a great example of a vintage meets modern archtop. At about $500 new for a non pickup equipped model, it's an awesome deal for someone looking for that downhome sort of voice in an easy to play, great sounding archtop guitar. Godin gear is underrated but built extremely well, so I'd have no...
I was suprised when this guitar came into the shop. When I think Godin I think fancy jazzy guitars with midi outputs that players like John Mclaughlin play. I was not very familiar with their more traditional guitars. This guitar is a nice piece. Im afraid most people are like me though and less than willing to look other places for guitars like...
I bought it secondhand to Stratman via Audiofanzine for a very good price. It was in perfect condition. It was a great deal. I've owned it for one week and it spent three days at a guitar technician's shop so he could adjust the neck. I adjusted the height of the neck pickup and it now sounds perfect. I've always been a...
High-quality, versatile guitar with a long life expectancy and an affordable price... This guitar requires some time to be "mastered". At least for someone like me who played a nylon acoustic. I needed a long time! And I'm not done yet...
What can I say - I love this guitar! It sounds ok acoustic (a nice little feature on the side), sounds great plugged in, stays in tune, is very feedback resistant and has very good intonation. The look is a matter of taste and some people would prefer to have a more 'acoustic' design. It is a 'working man' guitar - nothing fancy but everything o...
I really think Godin is making very good guitars for the money. I have become much more of a 'Strat'-guy the last couple of years and my style of playing just doesn't suit this type of guitar anymore. It is built rock sold and stays in tune very well. But it is also very, very heavy and I started to have back pains just from playing this guitar!...
I tried it out at a store It's a simple guitar with a good manufacturing quality. Very attractive price. You can feel it's a good-quality instrument even though it's not expensive
I tested the 5th Avenue model without a pickup and I would like to meet somebody who owns the version with pickup to hear how it sounds...
I've had it for about 8 years. The wood used is probably not the best, apparently Godin guitars 'move' a bit with age...so you might want to get the harmonics reset every year or so. Overall, a fantastically versatile guitar with almost endless possibilities. Probably not the best electric in the world, but pretty damn good i ...
