as an overall ,its a great guitar. I love what it does and how it sounds. It's a one trick pony, but its a great trick that suits me perfectly. is this guitar for everyone? definitely not, but for a player looking for a great big sounding guitar Les Paul's are the way to go, and I highly suggest you look into one if you haven't already. as for p...
Overall, you cant go wrong with this guitar, it also holds its value. I have seen many of these still be held at a very firm price today over ten years after it was produced. It is also very durable, You can bang it around without worrying about it getting chipped. Just don’t bang it around too much ! But it can take some abuse and not look bad...
I know, I know - the sound is amazing, but the size is a bit off-putting. And the reason for both is the same reason - it is big simply because that design sounds great on this. This is a wonderful instrument, but that comes at a steep price - street on it is under $4000. Try one out if you have the cash.
I don't give these out much, but this instrument gets a perfect ten all around, as it is hard to imagine another guitar doing what this one does only better. There might be some that are about equal in performance, such as a good D-28, but I can't think of any dreadnought style guitars that exceed this one. It looks great, feels very nice, plays...
This is a very cool axe from Gibson. Where else can you get a solid maple-bodied set neck guitar with just one pickup, frets all professionally dressed via the computer controlled PLEK system, made in the USA, for under $550? I've seen them used sell for $400 even! At that price, it's worth it to buy this even just to have a spare "knock-around"...
Here's the good news. I think with a new nut, a fret level, and some different pickups to clean up the tone, this guitar could be pretty good. But we're talking about $400 worth of stuff on top of the tag price, which is ridiculous. Personally I'm not spending that to save a guitar that I already think it really ugly. Call me crazy. My adv...
At new you can pick these up for right at around $4700, which is not a lot for a custom Gibson LP. It is a lot of money for anything music gear related but compared to the custom Gibson LP's that are either '59 or '58 than this price comes under that by quite a lot. This is a cool guitar and if you can live with it being a signature guitar than ...
The price of this guitar is very nice. You can get a great sounding American made guitar for right at around $450 which is stellar price. Overall, this is a cool guitar but in my opinion it is not a main stay guitar. It is not going to be a main guitar for most people because it just has that unusual tone that most people I think are unfamiliar ...
These guitars fetch for $3000 new, but you can certainly find them in many used sections of classifieds or auction sites. If you have the means to spend several thousand dollars for a guitar that I suggest looking around and finding an older used Gibson goal top because it'll serve you right to play a few and get the right perfect one th...
These guitars can very pricey depending on whether it's a studio model or one of the new reissues. Every version of these guitars pretty much carries the same tone but they will sound a little bit different depending on what version you get. Of course the higher models will have a little bit beefy tone and certainly feel a lot better tha...
